Schedules created in SCOOTER remain in the program's database until deleted. There is usually no compelling reason to delete a schedule; the virtually unlimited storage space available with modern hard drives allows thousands and thousands of schedules to remain on file indefinitely. Because SCOOTER compresses the data internally, each schedule takes up very little space. However, from time to time you might desire to reduce clutter in the schedule list by deleting old or outdated schedules. Related topic: Purging Schedules.
From the main window, highlight one or more schedules you want to delete and do one of the following:
•Click the Delete button on the tool bar;
•Choose Schedule > Delete from the main menu;
•Press the Delete key on the keyboard;
•Right click the schedule list and choose Delete schedule from the pop-up menu.
A schedule currently opened in the Schedule Information window can also be deleted by clicking the Delete button on the tool bar. This action will close Schedule Information and return to the main SCOOTER window.
SCOOTER will ask for confirmation before deleting the selection. In addition, SCOOTER Pro™ provides the opportunity to back up the database before proceeding with the deletion.
Once a schedule has been deleted, it cannot be recalled without a current backup of the program database. Restoring a backup will undo all changes made since that backup was taken. See Backup and Restore for more information.
