SCOOTER Pro™ supports filtering of schedules based on criteria you set. Filtering controls are located in the upper right of SCOOTER Pro™'s main window.
Filter Settings
The filter is activated by checking the Filter Range check box. Removing the check disables the filter but does not alter the selected date range. Any changes to any of the filter settings is reflected immediately in the displayed schedule list.
When the filter is enabled, the From and To date boxes determine which schedules are displayed. To be included, a schedule's start and end dates must fall completely within the filter dates. For example, if a schedule starts on May 1 and the filter start date is set to May 2, that schedule would not be included in the display.
In addition to the Filter Range, displayed schedules can be narrowed by status. The Display drop down allows all schedules to be displayed, or those that have been Prepared, are Pending, Accepted, Declined, or Expired. The Display drop down is independent of the Filter Range, but can be used in combination with it. Removing the check from Filter Range does not disable the Display selection, or its effect.
Two settings in Program Options affect the behavior of the Filter Range, with one of them also affecting the Display setting.
•Remember main window display settings – When this box is checked, SCOOTER Pro™ remembers and recalls both your filter and display settings each session. Remove the check to always start the program with the Filter Range disabled and the Display drop down set to "All".
•Filter nn days before/nn days after today – Check this box and specify the number of days before and after today's date that will be used as the Filter Range each time the program is started. SCOOTER Pro™ calculates the date range using these numbers based on the current date as set on your computer. This allows you to create a "moving window" that is updated daily, maintaining the same number of days for the filter over time in relation to the current date. For example, setting the before/after to 30/60, will display only schedules that fall within the 90 day window 30 days in the past and 60 days in the future from today's date.
