SCOOTER client import and export functions both use templates to store record assignments. Storing these templates allows you to reuse the same settings without being required to recreate them with each use.

The Save Template window is identical for both import and export templates. However, each version only displays available templates for the current function; that is, only import templates are displayed when saving an import template, and only export templates are displayed when saving an export template.

To execute a save, enter a descriptive name for the template and then click Save. Each template name must be unique. The program will complain if you attempt to save a new template under an existing name. Edited templates may be saved using their original name or under a new name.

Once you have assigned a template name, click Save to save it and close the Save Template window.
