Salespeople have it rough. You spend most of your days trapped behind a desk or in a car. There's no way to get around it: radio sales is a very sedentary job. Most Americans don't get enough daily physical activity as it is, so it's no surprise that radio salespeople tend to carry around extra body weight. And if you're not making your numbers, hello stress and high blood pressure! Put all this together and you've got an unhealthy mess.
If your dress size has gone up, if you're on the last notch on your belt, if you're sick and tired of being sick and tired, then get off your radio butt. Here's a great move to firm up your back side, and a bonus stress-reducing neck stretch. Do them today!
• Backside Burner: Squeeze your glutes and hold for 2 seconds. Relax and repeat up to 25 times. Perfect while waiting at a red light or sitting through a leads meeting.
• Neck Release: Place your right hand on your left shoulder. Tilt your right ear to your right shoulder, but don't turn your head. Hold for 10 seconds, and switch sides. A great way to relax your neck and shoulders at the desk.
